The problem or experience

Platformers are usually about getting from A to B. Mosslight is about a small, curious character waking a forgotten world, with creatures you can ride and a journey from the Emerald Wilds to the Heart of the Wild.

Who it's for

People who like cozy, atmospheric platformers, and anyone curious what a browser can render.

My contribution

It is my project: an original, self-contained Three.js game with its own world, characters and music.

What works today

  • Move, jump, roll, ride nearby creatures and use their abilities, per the README.
  • Touch controls appear automatically on touch devices.
  • Checkpoints and collectibles save locally in your browser.

Limitations

  • I checked that the title screen loads and renders, not the full journey.
  • Sound is off until you turn it on.

Found a place it breaks?

  • Tell me where you got stuck, or where it felt great.
  • If you make 3D art or music for games, I'd love to hear what you'd add.
