Gem Studio

A browser tool for composing song-pack prompts for a Google Gem, then checking what comes back.

Prototype

Runs locally with no build step. The README links to a hosted copy that returned a 404 when I checked.

The problem or experience

A prompt-driven Gem only improves if you can see what 'good' looks like. Gem Studio composes prompts, decodes the replies against a template contract, and helps save the good packs as examples.

Who it's for

People who write songs with AI and want repeatable, checkable output.

My contribution

It is my project: the Gem instructions, the template contract and the studio UI.

What works today

  • Compose prompts from recipes or your own settings.
  • Decode a reply and flag drift from the templates.
  • Browse the library of example packs.

Limitations

  • The hosted link in the README doesn't currently load.
  • The Gem itself runs in Google's Gemini, not here.
